Paul Oakenfold performs DJ set on Mount Everest

Paul Oakenfold has reached a new milestone that no other DJ has ever reached, and it looks like it has taken his career to new ‘heights’. Hiking all the way to 17,000 feet above sea level, the British DJ performed an exclusive set at Mount Everest base camp this week, marking the beginning of his “Generations” world tour, which will see him before at a number of obscure locations around the world.

To make the event that little bit more special, all proceeds from the performance are going to the Himalayan Trust and Supporting Nepal’s Children – two groups dedicated to helping surviving victims of the country’s 2015 earthquake. Thankfully, Paul and his team were able to record and stream the footage of this once in a lifetime event, which you can see for yourself here.

You can catch Paul Oakenfold on the rest of his tour in more accessible locations across North America and Europe.
