Simon & Phil – By Your Side

The duo – Simon & Phil, consisting of German music producers Simon Hartmann and Phil Finlay, have created and released an electrifying new single entitled ‘By Your Side‘. The pair have collected a lot of support from plenty of big names in the music industry from their recent tracks. This includes Nicky Romero’s label ‘Protocol‘ making Simon & Phil’s track ‘Codex‘ their ‘Demo Of The Week‘ which is a massive honour considering the huge amount of influence the label has in the EDM scene. As well as this, Simon & Phil remixed one of Thomas Gold’s tracks – ‘Believe‘ and after Thomas Gold heard the track, he was so impressed by it that he decided to throw the remix into some of his own sets. Other support from big names include Quintino, Vicetone and Olly James.

‘By Your Side‘ is a unique future bass dance anthem filled with plenty of emotion. It starts with an acoustic based style before developing into a more electronic vibe. During the drop, powerful melodic leads burst in, giving you an uplifting sound as it merges brilliantly with the vocals. Overall, the track combines a sweet ‘electronic pop’ style and a ‘future bass’ very creatively, making it very enjoyable to listen to.
