Steve Angello previews upcoming album during Coachella 2017 set
With his sophomore album in the pipeline, Swedish DJ & producer Steve Angello has had a successful weekend one of the annual Coachella Arts & Music Festival. Playing exclusively only his own tracks in his hour-long showcase set, the dance maestro premiered a large portion of his upcoming album ‘Almost Human’, most of which has never been heard previously.
Taking a different approach than the usual set Steve has come to be known for, the Coachella Weekend One set was packed with exclusive first-plays of a plethora of new material, and served as more of an album showcase.
With the title track of the new album serving as the intro, the Swedish DJ premiered singles such as ‘Break Me Down’, ‘Feels Like Heaven’, ‘Glory’, and multiple untitled productions, including the highly coveted collaboration with his younger brother An21. Angello also dropped a few of his classics, such as ‘Knas’, ‘SLVR’, ‘Rave N Roll’, and of course, the almighty ‘Payback’. With the album up close and in sight for the listeners and keen Steve Angello fans, there is no question about the buzz that the album’s impending arrival will be causing in the various parts of the industry.
