Ushuaïa announce ‘Limited Edition’ Wednesdays with Alesso, Axwell, Ingrosso, and many more

Just when Ibiza‘s 2017 season looked like it couldn’t possibly get any bigger, the amazing Ushuaïa have once again pulled out all the stops. This time announcing a very special new event known as ‘Limited Edition‘, taking place at the Beach Hotel every Wednesday between 28th June and 6th September, and featuring a truly star studded line-up containing some of the biggest names in dance music right now.

The likes of Diplo, Alesso, Major Lazer, and DJ Snake will all join the line-up, in addition to Swedish giants Axwell Λ Ingrosso, who return for two very special performances, and Dutch powerhouse DJ, Hardwell. The latter duo of acts held residencies at the club last summer, with ‘Hardwell DNA’ a huge sell-out on Tuesdays,  and thousands flocking to Axwell Λ Ingrosso’s Wednesday pool-parties, with Ushuaïa a firm favourite venue for the duo, who also performed there back in their Swedish House Mafia days.

Kicking off on 28th June with a different headliner each week, the club’s Limited Edition nights will see the cream of the dance music elite take to the decks for a very special series of totally unique shows. This will mark a career milestone for DJ Snake, who also recently headlined Ultra Music Festival in Miami, marking the first time the French producer has ever played the Ushuaïa stage. Major Lazer Soundsystem will also be making their Ushuaïa debut this year, joining forces with the no 1 open air club in the world to throw some of the biggest parties the Balaerics has to offer in 2017. Completing the line-up is Swedish superstar Alesso, who will be teaming up with Diplo for a highly exclusive, one off performance on 16th August.

Taking to his Twitter account to talk about the announcement, Axwell said the following, spread over three seperate tweets:

“As you can see from ADE and Miami we are really focusing on our shows being the best they can be. Because of that we are going to make a change and only play Ibiza for 2 shows and focus on them being the biggest yet. We will play @ushuaiaibiza only 2 times this year. July 26 and Aug 2. These 2 shows will be our only Ibiza performances. See you there. Λ”
