Returning to their W&W moniker, the Dutch duo of Willem van Hanegem and Wardt van der Harst has once again brought their mainstage, big room sound to their fans with their latest release, ‘Put EM Up.’ After month of waiting, the track was finally released on their Mainstage Music label.

The Dutch duo has been in the news recently for their trance moniker, NWYR, who debuted at Ultra Music Festival just a few weeks ago. Featuring at Armin Van Buuren’s ASOT Megastructure, NWYR featured some of the classic trance sounds that we became familiar with when W&W first stepped onto the electronic music scene.

Keeping with W&W, ‘Put EM Up’ has been a sought-after ID since their electric Tomorrowland set last year. Since, the track has been featured by Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, Hardwell, KSHMR, and others in their sets and podcasts, and it is no surprise why. Opening with a flute-like melody, the track soon gives way to W&W’s familiar heavy synths and strong underlying beat. The track really shines after the first drop, allowing for a rhythmic return pairing along with a different drum pattern. Building the tempo back up, the track closes with a spirited finish.

The return to the W&W title for Willem and Wardt is a welcome one by fans. Their dynamic, mainstage beats send crowds into euphoria; ‘Put EM Up’ is no different. Featuring a catchy melody and amazing synth work, the track is going to stick around for this year’s festival season. ‘Put EM Up’ is available now on Beatport and iTunes.
