Flume – Hyperreal feat. Kučka

In what has already been a standout year for Australian producer Flume, having taken home the prize for the Best Dance/Electronic Album at the Grammys back in February. Following this success with a “Skin Companion II” EP as well as an extensive remix compilation, this week marks the final release from his acclaimed album “Skin”, entitled “Hyperreal” together with Kučka.

The groundbreaking album set Flume aside from his competitors with it’s futuristic synth work, and daring lyrics; and because of that, he’s set a personal bar for his music and fans around the world are patiently waiting to see what’s next.

One thing that’s for sure is that Flume’s loyal fanbase are sure to love the direction he has direction with this one. Eerily haunting with his signature glitchy synths flittering throughout, the chilling vocals throughout create an intense atmosphere, and perfectly exemplify the diverse and unique production skills that has led to so much success for the Australian.

The mass appeal of Flume’s music means that this release has both a mainstream and dance music appeal. An international tour looks impending, as he tells fans that he will “See you out on the road” in his recent social media posts.
