Marshmello announces “Moving On” as latest release

Last week, rising superstar Marshmello took to Twitter to announce that his next release will be coming to a speaker near you on May 5th. While he does not explicitly tell us the nature of “Moving On,” we definitely believe that it is a single as he gave fans his debut album last January and has been playing the supposed ID dating back to 2015.

Marshmello has already had an extremely busy year as he has released his vocal collaboration “Chasing Colors” with Ookay and Noah Cyrus and more recently his song “Twinbow” with Slushii. He also just came off of one of the biggest performances of his career during the insanity that was Coachella, which featured guests such as ASAP Ferg and Travis Barker. “Moving On” will be Marshmello’s first solo production since he dropped the radio-friendly track “Ritual” with Stephen Wrabel back in October of last year.

Fans suspect that the track is the same one from a video posted on his Facebook page back in February as he includes the hashtag #movingon. The song features lyrics such as “I’m moving on with you” from an uncredited vocalist, which sounds slightly similar to “Alone.” It appears to be another energy-filled banger as the drop boasts the classic Marshmello bounce style and is sure to be another instant hit for the mysterious producer/DJ.

Check out the artwork and listen to the preview of the song below.

And when I'm gone it won't be long until I'm coming home #movingon
