Martin Garrix reveals release date for Troye Sivan collab
It’s only May and to say Martin Garrix has absolutely dominated the music scene in 2017 so far would be a severe understatement. DJ Mag’s #1 DJ and recently turned 21 year old took to Twitter and Facebook yesterday to casually release some exciting news. His vocal collaboration with Troye Sivan entitled “There For You” will be coming to a sound system near you on Friday, May 26th. The highly-anticipated song was initially premiered with a surprise guest appearance by Sivan during Garrix’s set at Coachella’s weekend two.
The song boasts some incredible vocals from Sivan and while it appears to follow a similar style to his previous future-bass inspired tracks, this one brings a more upbeat and energetic vibe to it. Sivan’s vocals flow perfectly throughout the song, which are then followed by a bouncy drop that is sure to get you moving on the dance floor. “There For You” will be Garrix’s third release of the calendar year following “Byte” with Brooks released last month and his other vocal collaboration with Dua Lipa, “Scared To Be Lonely.” The track is yet another confirmation of Garrix incredibly unique and talented style as he can switch from a high-energy festival banger to a more melodic vocal track such as this. It is primed to be an absolute smash on the charts upon its release and we cannot wait to hear the official audio next week.
Listen to the premiere of the song below and be sure to check back following the release.
