Relive Dutch producer Nicky Romero's festival anthem titled "WTF!?" alongside ZROQ, which recently celebrated its five-year anniversary.

Nicky Romero and ZROQ’s “WTF!?” turns 5 years old

Nicky Romero is undoubtedly one of the electronic dance music scene’s most prominent names. Since achieving mainstream success in 2012, the Dutch artist has continued to rise toward the higher ranks of the industry not only as a music producer, but also as a DJ. Throughout his career, he has headlined some of the biggest festivals and venues in the world, including Tomorrowland and Ultra Music Festival.

However, his tremendous work inside the studio is not to be overshadowed, especially after releasing some massive anthems over the past few years. Namely, the Protocol Recordings head honcho has delivered the likes of the hard-hitting “Toulouse”, the progressive house masterpiece “I Could Be the One” alongside Swedish sensation Avicii, and the vocal track “Lighthouse”.

Another festival smash hit under Nicky Romero’s name is the floor-shaking “WTF!?” in collaboration with fellow Dutch talent ZROQ. The track has recently turned five years old and in celebration, let’s relive the memories we have had listening to this high-octane production.

Following its official debut during Nicky Romero’s performance at Ultra Music Festival in 2012, this record became a staple of other dance events and radio shows. With its astounding melodic sequences and jolting distorted synths, it comes to no surprise how much success this tune has accumulated.

Take a trip down memory lane and listen to “WTF!?” below.
