Watch: Kygo and Ellie Goulding Release Music Video For ‘First Time’

Summer is almost here and tropical house king Kygo knows exactly how to capture that vibe. The recently released second single “First Time“, featuring Ellie Goulding, from his upcoming album just received a stunning music video to support the track that has already peaked on countless charts and gained over 50 million streaming views.

The emotional and abstract music video was created by Mirada Studios director Matthew Cullen and has already amassed nearly 1.5 million views after only being posted earlier today. The video begins with Goulding kneeling over a stone-turned Kygo as flashbacks begin to play. It follows a boy whose body sets on fire and turn to stone as he crafts throughout his life.

Goulding and Kygo are also shown throughout the video both singing and playing on the piano, respectively as the video is definitely of the more creative and unique concepts that you see will in the music world. Cullen’s productions have not gone unnoticed in the past as he owns a Grammy for his work and this video is another confirmation as to why.

Kygo’s sophomore album is due out later this year and it can expect to feature a myriad of summer ballads to follow “First Time”. He is currently well into his summer touring circuit as he is in the midst of his Las Vegas residency and will look to move to Ushuaia come the beginning of July where he is sure to premiere more music off the album.
