The duo of Willem van Hanegem and Wardt van der Harst is highly respected within the dance music community. Collectively known as W&W, these Dutch powerhouses have consistently delivered floor-shaking and crowd-pleasing productions that have became some of the festival scene’s biggest anthems.

Since their establishment, W&W have shocked the world with their hard-hitting releases such as “Bigfoot” and “Waves” alongside Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike. Showcasing their versatility in music production, W&W have also uplifted the crowd with their euphoric trance music as their alter ego NWYR.

During the immense rise of electronic music in 2013, W&W were accumulating more attention especially with their monumental live performances. From their impressive array of records, this year saw the release of the duo’s electrifying, big room track called “Thunder“, which celebrates its four-year anniversary today.

Released on W&W’s own record label Mainstage Music, this single was an absolute crowd-favorite during major festivals such as Ultra Music Festival and Tomorrowland. With its thunderous basslines and monstrous electro sounds, it is far from surprising how much success this tune achieved since its release. Featuring W&W’s signature big room elements, “Thunder” was a true dance music masterpiece that has consistently energized audiences of any magnitude around the world.
