On Saturday, June 17, Afrojack performed at Electric Daisy Carnival in Las Vegas and invited some special guests to come on stage. After about 20 minutes into his live set, the Dutch DJ sent out American hip-hop duo Rae Sremmurd to perform a few songs in front of the massive crowd under the electric sky.

While on stage, Rae Sremmurd brought the house down first with their 2014 hit called “No Type“. With the audience warmed up, the two brothers performed their latest single “Swang” and finished off their time on stage with their four-time, platinum-certified record “Black Beatles“. After bringing out Ty Dolla $ign and O.T. Genasis during Ultra Music Festival in Miami, Afrojack simply continued his hot streak this year by bringing out two of hip-hop’s current powerhouses.

Outside of Rae Sremmurd’s surprise appearance, Afrojack delivered an earth-shattering live set that certainly energized every single member of the crowd. Throughout his performance, he combined several of the hip-hop genre’s best hits alongside many of electronic music’s top tracks. From the likes of Kendrick Lamar, Migos, Future, JAY-Z, and Kanye West, hip-hop was well-represented throughout Afrojack’s EDC set.

Additionally, Afrojack played numerous of his own tracks, from his classics to his most recent releases. From his notorious “Take Over Control” to his collaboration with Steve Aoki on “No Beef”, Afrojack certainly took the audience through a nostalgic trip. Although, he also played his unreleased productions alongside Dillon Francis and KIIDA, keeping the freshness of his overall performance.
