Calvin Harris’ latest hit “Slide” has officially gone platinum

Calvin Harris‘ “Slide” featuring the likes of Frank Ocean and Migos has officially attained platinum status. Definitely a contender for song of the summer, Slide entered the Billboard Hot 100 in March and peaked at a 25 high. The track is the first single off his upcoming album titled Funk Wav Bounces Vol. 1; reaching platinum in such little time is certainly good indication of how the album’s going to do.

So far, we have 3 thrillers off the album. Slide is currently accompanied by “Rollin’” (w/ Khalid & Future) and “Heatstroke” (w/ Ariana Grande, Young Thug, and Pharrell) which also have platinum potential.
