Calvin Harris, Tiësto & The Chainsmokers among the highest earning celebrities of 2017

Each year, Forbes releases its list of the highest earning celebrities across the world, listed by their pre-tax income. The list features not only musicians, but actors, writers and personalities as well, all of whom are classified as entertainers.

This year, Calvin Harris was the highest paid DJ on the list, with a whopping $48.5 million earned since this time last year, placing him at number 40 overall. The Scottish superstar topped many notable names, including Kim Kardashian West, Taylor Swift, Lewis Hamilton and Simon Cowell, to name just a few. Below Calvin Harris and just below Kylie Jenner, at number 60 is Dutch legend Tiësto with $39 million, and just below him The Chainsmokers land at number 65 with $38 million, after what can only be described as a highly successful year for the duo.
