David Guetta returns to Ushuaïa with BIG residency
The White Isle welcomes back one of electronic dance music’s greatest DJs as David Guetta returns to Ushuaïa Ibiza Beach Club this summer for an epic summer-long residency appropriately titled BIG. Monday nights in the Mediterranean sunset belong to Guetta as he takes over the elite club from 12 June to 28 August.
Fans from the world over will be flying into Ibiza to hear the Dutchman’s chart-topping hits, from the immortal “When Love Takes Over” to his recent single “Light My Body Up,” featuring frequent collaborator Nicki Minaj. Ushuaïa boasts a lake-shaped pool, but of course, views of the azure waters of the Mediterranean, making it the perfect home for BIG.
Guetta’s BIG residency will feature a list of dance music’s finest as superstar DJs join him to opening the party. Afrojack, Robin Schulz, and Cedric Gervais will represent Guetta’s signature big room house while Sam Feldt, Jonas Blue, and Felix Jaehn offer up their tropical house.
David Guetta was, in some respects, EDM’s first ambassador to the mainstream markets as the genre gained popularity between 2008-2010. His big room house introduced fans to the drop and he continued to diversify his sound in the ensuing years by cultivating a relationship with hip hop, adding rappers to his tracks, such as Minaj and Lil Wayne.
Tickets are on sale now, offering an amazing experience with a roster of top DJs in one night for only 50 euros. Ushuaïa will be the place to be on Monday nights this summer.
