Major Lazer & WizKid – Naughty Ride

Major Lazer has already had a monster first half of the 2017 calendar year after releasing their collaboration with Nicki Minaj “Run Up” along with their recent Know No Better EP. Now the electronic music trio is back with a new release “Naughty Ride” with Drake-collaborator WizKid on what sounds like your perfect summer tune.

The track is much more downtempo than some of the songs off the EP and resembles the same style featured in “Run Up.” WizKid’s auto-tuned lyrics combined with a slow tropical instrumental further prove the versatility in Major Lazer’s discography as they can move between multiple genres. “Naughty Ride” is primed to be a definite hit on the charts as we are officially in the summer season where we get some of the best releases of the year.

WizKid sent out a tweet over the weekend that easily describes what you will feel when listening to the single. The singer is set to release his mixtape Sounds From the Other Side on July 14 so we can only hope for another collaboration with an electronic music artist.
