A fusion of Ibiza and Woodstock comes to the Windy City this weekend. Mamby on the Beach, Chicago’s one and only beachfront music festival, is coming, and for those who will miss out attending during the day, or to keep the party going, there are a slate of after parties planned by promoter React Presents.

Mamby has a “leave only footprints” ethos for not only amazing performances, but also to foster a sense of community, cross-cultural appreciation, and to highlight Chicago‘s natural environment—the aquamarine water of Lake Michigan at host site Oakwood Beach, basking in the hot summer sun on a beautiful beach with skyline views. At Mamby, man and modernity meet nature in the best way possible.

As for the after shows, Mamby’s headliners span the genres of tropical house, to electronica, to indie electro pop. Sam Feldt‘s mesmerizing sun-soaked tropical deep house takes over The Mid on Saturday, while indie rock visits the Concord Music Hall courtesy of Local Natives. The following night, on Sunday, Justin Martin takes over from Feldt at The Mid, while at Chicago’s elite nightclub Prysm, Klingande will rule the booth. If that’s not enough, Prysm will host superstar DJ Zedd on Saturday night: although he’s not appearing at Mamby, he has an aftershow following B96’s SummerBash. If you want options, Mamby has plenty for you.

Mamby can be just about music if you want it to be, but the array of offerings during the festival provide the incentive to explore their mission:

For those with an open mind and a curious heart, Mamby On The Beach is an opportunity to escape the monotony of our daily routines and explore the most precious parts of our collective being. As Mamby brethren, united around common bonds of freedom, expression and beauty, we invite you to bring the memories made here wherever you go.

And don’t forget their impressive lineup:
