Deadmau5 offers fans a video tour of his home studio and mansion

Canadian producer and DJ Deadmau5 offered his fans an exclusive behind the scenes tour of his home studio and the home itself. Known for his love of technology, which sets him apart amongst his producer peers, Joel Zimmerman has a state of the art set-up to record, produce and master his music from the comfort of his own home.

The video is from Linus Tech Tips and shows how Deadmau5 built the studio, literally suspending aspects of it from the high vaulted ceilings. The recording and sound apparatuses feature Dolby technology, showing how Deadmau5 uses only the best of the best.

One wall in the studio is devoted to analogue synthesizers while a set of keyboards are set in another area. The Neve Analog Console that fills the room has a market value of half a million dollars.

Elswehere, the video explores the DJ’s house. Still residing in Canada, the mansion has all the trappings one would expect of a millionaire, but also a collection of games and arcade items.
