Dirty South – The First Time

Dragan Roganović, or better known as Australian-based DJ and producer Dirty South, has returned with an epic progressive house banger titled ‘The First Time‘ on Anjunabeats. The track features vocals from Rudy, whom Dragan has collaborated with on numerous tracks since 2007 such as ‘Open Your Heart’ with Axwell and Rudy, and most recently, ‘Just Dream’. Although the sound of ‘The First Time’ is different to that of which fans are accustomed to from Roganović, it is tantalizing nonetheless.

Rudy’s smooth, reverb-soaked vocals effortlessly synchronize with the captivating synths that ring throughout the track. The vocals also aid the track’s gradual ascent, backed by a smooth bass and a fitting kick drum.

Like most progressive house tracks, the infectious melody is established early on in the track and intertwines throughout the duration of the song, leaving it stuck in listeners heads. The track builds up effortlessly and is poised to appear in numerous warm-up sets across the globe.

The track was first premiered in Dirty South’s Drift Radio #008 over two months ago in early May, but has seen its release just a few days ago. The 8th episode of Drift Radio also contained tracks from notable artists such as Cristoph and Franky Rizardo.
