Generation HEX 005 E.P.

Since it was founded in 2015, HEXAGON has remained an instrumental force within the dance music industry, releasing tracks from some of the finest talents across the globe. With label boss Don Diablo paving the way consistently striving to release increasingly creative and dynamic productions, it comes as no surprise that HEXAGON never fails to maintain its reputation by delivering only the most outstanding tracks.

Always on the lookout for up-and-coming talents, HEXAGON has now released the fifth installment of the ‘Generation HEX‘ EP series, which provides a platform to lesser-known artists, showcasing their work to the world. Of course, the standard is exceptionally high, with only the most forward-thinking, visionary productions making the cut.

Generation HEX 005 truly kicks off with a bang, with Bougenvilla‘s explosive track ‘Onik‘ emanating a colossal level of power from the onset. Having provoked a monumental crowd reaction whenever dropped in one of Don Diablo’s live sets, the track is a certified house anthem which excels in every aspect.

Demonstrating the diverse nature of the releases on HEXAGON, the second track on the EP takes a vastly different form. Redondo and First Day are truly a winning combination, and their production ‘Burnin’ Up‘ speaks for itself, illustrating the sheer originality and talent of the artists involved. The melody effortlessly balances emotion and power, culminating to create a truly seamless end product.

Instantly exuding energy, Louder‘s ‘The Move‘ is characterized by its menacing aura. The production powers ahead, steered by its intoxicating rhythm and undeniably dark undertones, alongside the exhilarating melody, making the track an ideal club anthem.

The final track on the EP is yet another monstrous house masterpiece, hailing from J-Trick and Tom Budin. Governed by its atmospheric vocals, ‘Heard Right‘ explodes with its thundering beat viciously radiating power. The melodic chord section gives the production an even more ominous, haunting feel, connecting each element together to create the perfect finale.
