Linkin Park frontman Chester Bennington commits suicide
According to a report by TMZ, Linkin Park frontman Chester Bennington was found hanging in his Palos Verdes residence in California. The iconic lead singer has battled with drug and alochol addiction for years, stating mental instability to do being abused as a child. It’s an incredibly unfortunate turn of events, not so far off from Chris Cornell’s suicide just over a couple months ago. Not much else is known about the direct causes leading up to these tragic events, however, Chester leaves behind 6 children from 2 different wives.
This is most definitely a blow to a lot of our communities youth, with Linkin Park paving the way for the mainstream industrial/electronic sound we all came to enjoy. We wish nothing but peace and respect during his families troubling times.
