Listen to Martin Garrix’ unreleased collab with Linkin Park in Chester Bennington’s memory
In an absolutely tragic news story that broke earlier today, Linkin Park’s frontman Chester Bennington took his own life at the age of 41. To commemorate his incredibly storied and legendary career, we wanted to take another listen to Linkin Park’s yet to be released collaboration with Martin Garrix “Waiting For Tomorrow.” Linkin Park was one of the most iconic bands throughout the last two decades and had a smash hit in the dance music genre with Steve Aoki a few years back with “Darker Than Blood.”
“Waiting For Tomorrow” is the perfect blend between Linkin Park’s powerful lyrics from Mike Shinoda and Martin Garrix’s high energy progressive style. Garrix confirmed last month in an interview and on Twitter that the collaboration was going to be released very soon but we have not heard any update in the recent weeks so it is unsure on the timetable. However, given the unfortunate news regarding Bennington, fans think that now may be a good of a time as any to pay tribute to an icon by releasing the highly-anticipated track.
Stream an unofficial version of the song below as we wait for its full release.
