We’re back with our Weekly Selections; a Spotify playlist where we round up the week’s biggest releases from the dance music world and beyond. This edition, just like the others has not disappointed, with massive tracks from established stars and newcomers alike. Featuring gems and tomorrow’s hits, let’s dive right in to the action.

As usual, we have a lot of house music on our hands. Don Diablo released his long awaited summer single, ‘Momentum‘; via his Hexagon record label. Momentum features an iconic vocal sample and a funky drop that strays away from his usual future house sound. Moving down the list we have Blasterjaxx with ‘Temple‘, a testament to the fact that big room is still alive and kicking hard; out now on Maxximize Records. We also have Tom Staar who has teamed up with Gordon Edge to deliver a groove infused banger in the form of ‘Its a Trumpet Thing’. The tribal nature of the track makes it the perfect tune to amp up festival crowds this summer season.

We also have deeper, more progressive based tracks that lean towards the indie realm; Highly Sedated release ‘Burn‘ and Dirty South releases another vocal gem in ‘The First Time‘. Purple Haze also joins in on the action, releasing ‘Contrast‘ on Spinnin’ sub-label, Doorn Records.

Like every other week, there a few exceptional remixes that are on constant rotation. Olav Basoski and Spyder take on the infamous classic ‘Waterman‘, and bring it into the sounds of now. Expect this one to bombard you during festival or club visits. Piano house maestro, Jack Wins also delivers a banger with his remix of Bastille‘s ‘Glory‘. Syn Cole rejuvenates Jonas Blue‘s ‘Mama‘, turning the original into a proper house anthem.

There are a lot more remixes and originals spanning the whole genre spectrum, check it out below!
