Ultra Music Festival is one of Europe’s premier music festival destinations attracting the world’s best DJs and visitors from all over the world. Hosted at Poljud Stadium in Croatia, the show provides state-of-the-art sound systems, lighting and firework shows, and the world’s best DJs that take the Ultranauts on their all-encompassing musical journey throughout the festival.

Among the line up were Dutch duo W&W who dropped a fiery set coupled with the elation of the Ultra Music Festival attendees. With a background in big-room and trance sounds, the pair really set the marker for energetic and pulsating sets.

W&W opened with their remix of The Chainsmokers – ‘Don’t Let me Down’ closely accompanied by a burst of streaming confetti much to the delight of fans who let out a mammoth roar. From the get go the set entered its high tempo state the DJs are distinctive with. ‘Whatcha Need’ and an Ed Sheeran ‘Shape of You’ festival remix followed next. The set was taken to the next level after eleven minutes in with the pair dropping Chuckie’s – ‘Whos Ready To Jump’ then treating the crowd to a W&W Bootleg of the iconic ‘Rhythm is a Dancer’ track.

This year the Dutch DJs returned to their original trance style with the NWYR project. Only released last month the DJs spun their latest track ‘Voltage’ to a sea of lights across the crowd. Two unreleased IDs from NWYR followed yet still kept the high energy flowing throughout the set. Another iconic track was dropped as Safron Duo – ‘Played A Life’ NWYR remix erupted across the stage.

The production levels intensified the set and the music throughout the performance of W&W’s set. In the latter stages of the set, the duo sent the crowd into a frenzy with the hardstyle sounds of ‘By Myself’ from D-Block & S-te-Fan. The notorious Eiffel 65 – ‘Blue (Da Be De)’ rung around the mouths of Ultra as W&W hit their final track of the set, Ed Sheeran’s – ‘Castle on the Hill’ NWYR remix.

A truly elating and satisfying set from the boys, their Ultra Music Festival Europe performance was nothing short of spectacular. Relive the magic by watching the set below and to see the full tracklist go here.
