J-Hamz, one half of the duo J-Hamz & Jaculator (J^2), has just released his fifth official studio release in the form of an extended play. Focusing on a blend of house and hip-hop sounds, the Canadian producer has dropped his ‘I Stack Up‘ EP, which consists of three original tracks and a remix of the title track by local artist Jeff Olson.
Opening is the EP is “I Stack Up“, which features the vocals of singer Jesse Peters. With its bouncy electro sounds and Peters’ clever rap, the EP kicks off perfectly with a vast amount of energy. The second track “Keep on Lovin’” moves toward a more futuristic approach with its groovy and bass-heavy elements suitable under any club atmosphere.
Keeping the flow in tact is the well-rounded third track “A Very Important Expedition“, which possesses a variety of musical styles and takes the audience through a journey of time and space. Lastly, Olson’s remix of “I Stack Up” finishes off the EP with a bang, brilliantly delivering its superb basslines and melodies to the listeners.
J-Hamz is known for his incredible work both as a solo artist and as a member of J-Hamz & Jaculator. With releases such as “I’d Do Anything” and “Until the End” under his name, J-Hamz has successfully proven his talents to the world and thus, he has earned the support of many fans and producers alike. Additionally, he has once been nominated for DJ/Electronic Recording of the Year for the 2017 Edmonton Music Awards, showcasing how far he has gotten in this industry throughout his career.
