Martin Garrix delivers long-awaited anthem “Pizza”

Martin Garrix has been an incredibly busy man recently, and after debuting his track ‘Pizza‘ at Tomorrowland last month, fans all over the world could not wait to get another taste of his latest production. The release comes just days after the premiere of the second season of his YouTube series, ‘The Martin Garrix Show‘ which will now be showing a new episode every Tuesday for the coming weeks.

Like all his tracks, ‘Pizza’ is a pure ball of energy, commencing with a stunning string solo, making great use of bass & reverb to give the intro an authentic orchestral feel. The main leads gradually ascend in conjunction with the strings, to create an epic, climactic drop. Much like the intro, the break proves to be well constructed in creating the perfect build, epitomizing what it means to tell a story with a song.

‘Pizza’ is the follow up to Garrix’s sensational collaborations, ‘Scared To Be Lonely‘ with Dua Lipa and ‘There For You‘ with Troye Sivan. With a busy summer filled with festivals coming to an end, Martin Garrix will wrap up his Ibiza residencies this September and begin preparations for this year’s Amsterdam Dance Event, where he will be hosting another two shows at Amsterdam RAI, including an all-ages show.
