Undoubtedly another top notch artist on the Spinnin’ Sessions roster, Dannic‘s addition to the fray as this week’s Spinnin’ Session guest mix host holds up the commitment to quality that Spinnin’ Records has come to be known about. As one of the prime taste-makers of the industry, Spinnin’ Records’ Session mixes have been of utmost importance – being the platform for showcasing all the new unreleased music, chat and releases from the week. The two-hour mix was graced by the Dutchman‘s presence as he dished out tracks from his Fonk label.

The mix begins in the traditional format – an hour of music from the Spinnin’ Records camp and then another from the guest – putting forth some thumping collaborations between Just Kiddin & Dirty Radio, Leandro Da Silva & Prelude, Adrian Lux & Savage Skulls, Felix Jaehn & Mike Williams, KSHMR & JDG and solos from TJR, Yultron and Gianluca Vacchi. London based producer Joe Burge pipped his fellows with his track ‘Back To The Future‘ to be this week’s Talent-pool record.

With the handing over of the mix at the hour to Dannic, all attention turned to the Dutchman and his quickly rising Fonk Recordings. He began the mix with his collaboration with fellow countryman and revered producer/DJ Fedde Le Grand. Also on the mix were tracks from Don Diablo, Pessto, Tom Tyger, Dannic’s collaboration with Promise Land among other mash-ups and collaborations. All in all, it was another fitting mix for the week as we head onwards the weekend. Since we had the chance, we also took the opportunity to quickly quiz Dannic.

What have you been up to lately?

I did so many great shows this summer such as Tomorrowland Belgium, Stardium in South Korea, Untold Festival in Romania and last but not least an awesome China tour.I feel really grateful doing what I do. I also look forward to my collaboration with big hero and friend Fedde le Grand. Together we created a brand new edit of the classic ’Toca’s Miracle’ together with Coco Star herself, which will be released on Spinnin’ Records as well.

What did you have in mind for this Guest Mix?

It’s always a tough job to find the right tracks because there are so many. In this mix I decided to add a lot of tracks of my label Fonk Recordings. I love to support the guys on the label such as We AM, Holl & Rush and Promise Land. Besides that, I included ‘Coco’s Miracle’, my brand new collaboration with Fedde le Grand, and new music by Don Diablo and of course I added some ID’s. Enjoy!
