Audien – Some Ideas EP

A highly-anticipated release, Audien’s brand-new ‘Some Ideas EP’ has been on the tip of various tongues since he posted a tweet to let fans know the production would be dropping on 15th September. Whether you’re a fresh listener to Audien‘s work, or a long-time fan, his sophomore EP is comprised of three tracks and showcases his dynamic and diverse range as a producer.

Kicking things off with the soft, lush melodies of ‘Message‘, the track echoes his soundscapes released on Above & Beyond‘s Anjunabeats.  Following the track with ‘Rampart‘, a collaboration with hardstyle artist Gammer, the delicate build is interjected by stadium-sized drops that increase into heart-pounding, face-melting, bass bumps.

The EP’s final track, ‘Resolve, switches gears yet again, taking things into an emotional future bass zone, with electronic drums building a climactic build, and the ensuing drop creating a perfect tone to end the EP with.

“Some Ideas is something I’ve wanted to release for a while,” Audien said in a statement.

“Each song has been a staple in my live sets for the past couple months. I worked on these songs exclusively on the road and you can also hear them on my Euphoria Tour, which I’m currently having a blast on.”

Making the switch over from an established career in sports journalism to the world of dance music in 2016, Jake Gable has cemented a spot as one of the industry's most in-demand names during his tenure to date. Working on highly successful press campaigns for the likes of Tiësto, MK, and many more during his time at one of London's most premiere PR outfits, Gable has also proved his hand as a skilled journalist, interviewing acts such as Oliver Heldens, Martin Solveig, NERVO, and many more at international events like EDC Las Vegas, Tomorrowland, Creamfields, and Amsterdam Dance Event. Working tirelessly as the CEO & Founder of UK company The EVENT, Gable also doubles up as a tour manager, playlist curator, dance music influencer, and DJ, under his JK-GBL alias. Further adding strings to his bow as a freelance copywriter - where he has worked for numerous iconic artists such as Axwell, and labels, such as Third Party's Release Records - Gable is best known for producing two of the biggest editorials in We Rave You history; The first a breaking news story on Swedish House Mafia's return at Miami's Ultra Music Festival in 2018 (a world exclusive), and the second titled 'Avicii: The Truth...', an inquest into the EDM star's passing, published less than 24 hours after his death.
