This past weekend, Above & Beyond closed down the main stage at Electric Zoo in New York in absolute style. The rain began to drop in a torrential downpour before their set started although that did not stop them from an incredible performance. Featuring classics such as “All Over the World,” “Sink the Lighthouse” and their remix of Moby’s “Porcelain,” the set was a clear highlight of the weekend as fans were able to ignore the water and witness greatness.
The most talked about piece of their performance, however, was the absolutely breathtaking new ID played towards the end of the set. Filled with euphoric vocals and an iconic melody that Above & Beyond has always been known for, this new single is going to light up the airwaves in the coming months. It is yet another sign that progressive house is making a triumphant return to its glory days in dance music as the group continues to prove they are among the kings of the genre.
Next weekend, Above & Beyond are set to play their Group Therapy 250 show at the Gorge Amphitheater in Washington, which is set to be an event to remember. The line-up features some unbelievable acts such as a B2B between Seven Lions and Jason Ross, Yotto, Moon Boots and many more.
