Fellow Dutchmen Hardwell and Afrojack have both had monumental 2017 campaigns. While Afrojack has shown stunning remixes for the likes of Justin BieberDavid Guetta, and The Chainsmokers, Hardwell has been on a level of his own. Now, they’ve combined forces and “Revealed” their brand new collaboration on ‘Hardwell On Air 335‘.

Aside from his hectic touring schedule, the Revealed Recordings owner has reached milestones, unparalleled by any other DJ this year. It’s been no secret that he’s been excelling in dabbling in other genres. His Hardstyle productions have gained great popularity, and even featured his track with Atmozfears on his Hardwell & Friends Vol.1 EP. Furthermore, he caught fans by surprise when he played a surprise Tech House set at Mambo Ibiza this summer.

While some argue that Big Room, is on the decline, others disagree. ‘Hands Up’ by Hardwell & Afrojack certainly, makes a case for the ascension of the much-loved genre. The song possesses elements and qualities that give a tip of the hat back to 2013, when ground-shaking kicks and dirty-dutch leads ruled the mainstage. An Afrojack-influenced drop, combined with a Hardwell-inspired break, prove to be an excellent, nostalgic combination.
