Major Lazer’s “Know No Better” gets an Afrojack makeover

Developing an interest in music from a young age, Afrojack is no stranger to instruments having learned to play the piano from as young as five years old. That same music interest drove Nick van de Wall to embark on his career as a DJ and producer and now he is one of electronic music’s biggest acts.

But as of recently, the ‘Take Over Control’ star has sought to the percussion family for his latest remix on Major Lazer’s track ‘Know No Better‘ from their album ‘Music Is The Weapon’. While the Xylophone may be widely perceived as that fun, colorful, and wooden instrument easy enough for babies to play, the modern metal apparatus in organology regarded as Glockenspiels serves as a fundamental component to any orchestra and Afrojack has infused the sounds into his latest remix.

While the original sound of ‘Know No Better’ served up a staple chart-topping hit, the fresh new take by Dutch DJ has turned this track into energetic party banger having amplified the tempo. More so the sounds from the chirpy and fun-loving Xylophone have been installed into the remix with perfect measure making sure to blend seamlessly with other percussive textures. The result, a fulfilling percussive track that will still rock any electronic music playlist.
