Home Uncategorized Solomun makes his Moroccan debut with marathon set at Oasis festival

Solomun has long been considered a king-pin of quality, underground dance music. His presence globally, and especially in Europe has been such that Tomorrowland invited him to play a set on their main-stage this year, a slot usually reserved for more mainstream-friendly acts.

Expanding his popularity year by year, the demand in Morocco was felt for the European DJ to make his appearance in the North African country, and he did it in style with a marathon 8 hour DJ set to open up proceedings at Oasis festival. No doubt the set was deep, dreamy and melodic as he took attendees on a journey through electronic music to keep them partying until dawn.

The festival also saw a number of sets from dance music heavyweights such as Detroit electro legend DJ Stingray, Kornél Kovács as well as a slew of special B2Bs, with the pick of the lot surely being Jackmaster B2B Axel Boman. Resident Advisor also live streamed a number of sets from the festival, which can be found on their Facebook page here.
