Diplo & Starrah reveal heavenly collaborative EP

Over the years, Diplo has consistently proven his adaptability as a producer, always moving forwards and progressing his style. He has a reputation for producing some of the heaviest tracks in electronic music, but has also shown a talent for creating tracks built for commercial success. His latest release is in collaboration with American artist Starrah, who provides heavenly vocals for their brand new five-track EP.

Each track follows a common theme, slow-paced and relaxing, guided by Starrah’s mesmerizing vocals which sit perfectly with the rhythm on each individual production. Particularly with opening track, ‘Zoo‘, the thumping beat creates the perfect late night anthem, providing an intoxicating rhythm. The second track ‘You Know It‘ showcases Starrah’s stunning vocals alongside the uplifting melody, resulting in a pop-infused masterpiece that will no doubt prove popular with fans. Slowing the pace further with third track ‘Swerve‘, the tone completely shifts, heading in a more emotive direction, with the guitar element adding a more sombre atmosphere.

‘Always Come Back‘ provides the perfect balance between Starrah’s hypnotizing vocals and Diplo’s faultless skill in production, combining to result in another exceptional anthem. Bringing the EP to a close, ‘Imperfections‘ holds a dark energy, and provides an epic finale to the enchanting selection of tracks.
