On the 16th of September 2017, The Gorge amphitheatre near the Columbia River in Washington played host to Above & Beyond’s mammoth ABGT250 celebration. The Incredible venue, which is considered among the world’s most scenic concert locations, was filled with thousands of Above & Beyond’s adoring fans, who had come from far and wide to connect with their extended ‘Anjuna Family’. Performances on day 1 of the event included Lutrell, Yotto, Oliver Smith, Genix & Sunny Lax, Seven Lions & Jason Ross, and of course Above & Beyond themselves, who opened proceedings with a special ‘Deep Set’ from the ABGT250 radio studio from 17:00 – 18:00 and eventually took over the mainstage for their high energy set from 22:00 to 00:00.
Day 2 of the event delved even deeper into the trio’s Anjunadeep sound, once again getting the day going with a ‘Yoga Set’, followed by incredibly memorable performances by Moon Boots, Eli & Fur, Jody Wisternoff & James Grant, 16 Bit Lolitas and Yotto & Lutrell. In the weeks that have passed since the conclusion of the event, social media has been abuzz with the Anjuna Family sharing, liking, listening and watching recordings from the event, doing everything in their power to keep priceless memories of the event from fading. Since the event, Above & Beyond have done a stellar job of keeping their loyal fans entertained, releasing a brand new single with Zoë Johnston entitled My Own Hymn and announcing the release of Common Ground, their highly anticipated new album, due for release in January 2018.
Now, almost a month after the incredible event, Above & Beyond have taken fans to an even higher place with the release of their ABGT250 after movie, giving fans a chance to relive all the best moments from the event, and possibly catch a glimpse of themselves in between the unforgettable memories that make up a life-changing performance, that only Above & Beyond seem to be able to do quite in the way they do.
