Subliminal Records boss Erick Morillo has returned with an infectious Tech House & Latin-infused tune “Evil Ecstasy“. The track, which will see its release on Morillo’s own SONDOS imprint, marks another big release for the label, whose first-ever track came in the shape of Andrea Oliva‘s remix of Thick Dick’s ‘Welcome To The Jungle’, still to this day a firm favorite in Erick’s live sets.

Boasting a perfect balance of Tech House & Latin vibes, Morillo’s expertise is evidently prominent in this Ibiza-ready anthem, with funky bass, 90’s-esque synths and authentic Latin percussion elements combining to create the perfect floor-filler.

Morillo, who is of Colombian Dominican descent, is known for iconic events such as weekly “sessions” parties in New York, Subliminal Sessions parties at Miami’s Winter Music Conference and Pacha Ibiza, as well as his coveted Ministry of Sound residency. He was also one of the driving forces behind House music’s incredible revolution. He, alongside Harry Romero and Jose Nunez, teamed up to launch the incredible, Subliminal Records back in 1997.
