Kygo enlists the industry stars for his new track “Kids In Love”

Kygo released his Stargazing EP to the delight of fans and is now giving the music video for new single ‘Kids in Love‘ the star treatment. Taking to Instagram, the Norwegian tropical house producer released a teaser featuring celebrities being asked a simple yet profound question: when was the first time you fell in love?

The likes of Simon Cowell, of X Factor fame, and Vin Diesel, from the Fast and Furious series, answer the question. Rob Gronkowski, the American football player known as Gronk, repeats his EDM music video acting experience from 3Lau‘s ‘On My Mind‘ by appearing in the Kygo video. His dance music peers The Chainsmokers appear toward the beginning of the clip, while artist Mr. Brainwash and actor Ansel Egort appear later on.

While some of the stars give humorous or silly answers, others clearly had pondered the insightful question. The clip itself is produced in the ever-popular vaporwave aesthetic, hearkening back to the static of VHS tapes.

‘Kids in Love’ is a new single released on the heels of the Stargazing EP, although Kygo has not yet indicated if it is from a forthcoming album for a standalone track. The single features the hallmarks that make Kyrre Gørvell-Dahll‘s music so beautiful–captivating, emotional melodies, and twinkling piano chords.
