Watch: Linkin Park & Friends pay tribute to Chester Bennington

Linkin Park celebrated the life of Chester Bennington in Los Angeles, in an event that will be forever remembered. Featuring guest performances from Kiiara, Steve Aoki, Zedd, Bebe Rexha, Alanis Morissette, Blink 182, plus members of A Day To Remember, Bring Me The Horizon, System of a Down, Avenged Sevenfold, and more, the three-hour set was filled with many memorable moments, bringing some fans to tears.

While many other artists paid touching tributes, none compared to Steve Aoki’s. Steve’s relationship with Chester was one like no other. Since learning of Bennington’s untimely death, Aoki has embarked on a personal journey in tribute to the late singer. Fans have united in admiration, as Aoki included songs made famous by Linkin Park in shows performed every night in various cities all over the world. He also released a remix of  ‘Darker Than The Light That Never Bleeds‘ in memoriam of his dear friend, and left the following comment in the video’s description:

“My tribute to Chester Bennington. I miss you dear friend. You are in our hearts and minds forever. Chester Forever. Net proceeds of my remix will go to Music For Relief’s One More Light Fund in Chester’s name.”
