On the Wednesday of Amsterdam Dance Event, Martin Garrix opened his own pop-up store, turning out to be a huge success. Fans lined up early from all over the world waiting for the doors of the shop to open, to meet Martin and have the opportunity to buy exclusive merchandise. Martin himself managed to take 1000 selfies in only 3 hours with fans who came by the store.

Martin is widely acknowledged as one of the more down-to-earth DJ’s, and certainly lived up to this reputation during ADE. The 21-year-old managed to take over 1000 selfies in just three hours with fans in Amsterdam last Wednesday, many of whom had lined up for hours to make it into the one-day pop-up shop. A true testament to the Dutchman’s prodigious worldwide popularity.

However, the pop-up store wasn’t the only success Martin saw during ADE. as he was crowned the world’s #1 DJ for a second consecutive year, finishing ahead of Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike and Armin Van Buuren.
