Martin Garrix and Matisse & Sadko – Forever

Released just one day before he finds out if he has kept his spot at the summit, as the #1 DJ in the World, Dutch wonderkid Martin Garrix has unveiled new single, ‘Forever‘ with good friends Matisse & Sadko. The duo, who also teamed up with the Dutchman on 2016 track ‘Together’ and 2015 anthem ‘Dragon’, first unveiled the track during Martin’s ‘Multiply’ residency in Ibiza this summer.

Featuring an orchestral opening, the trio share their penchant for classical tones with strong string, brass, and percussive elements, before a typically explosive drop launches into progressive house vibes. With an accompanying music video focusing on natural landscapes, the track looks set to become one of 2017’s biggest EDM tracks so far, adding to the stellar success that Garrix himself has enjoyed over the past few years.

Having dropped ‘Forever’ to his adorning faithful at Creamfields this summer, the track has been hotly anticipated and is launched during a hectic period for the Dutchman, with the DJ Mag Top 100 results set to be revealed this evening, when Martin will look to maintain his crown for the second successive year. He will play two events in the UK next week, with a Halloween special at Hammersmith Apollo, before taking to Brixton Academy for a sell-out headline show.
