Zedd set to join Linkin Park tribute concert in Los Angeles
The tragic news of Linkin Park frontman Chester Bennington‘s suicide took the world by surprise earlier this year, and now Zedd is set to take part in the metal band’s tribute show. On October 27, Linkin Park will celebrate the life of the late Bennington with a benefit concert at the historic and iconic Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles.
The memorial service will see the band joined by a roster of guest stars, including Zedd himself, who will not be spinning at the DJ decks but instead will contribute his skills as a drummer. Other celebrity and musical guests have yet to be announced.
The band will be donating their performance fee to the One More Light Fund, a charitable foundation they established in the wake of his death. One More Light is a partnership with Music for Relief, which is also a major sponsor of the event. Tickets are available now at a higher-than-average price point for the purpose of charitable benefit.
