Drumcode lovers are in for a treat, with techno DJ and Drumcode head honcho Adam Beyer taking to his Twitter account to announce the first ever Drumcode festival.

Partnering with Awakenings, the label boss has unveiled details of the event, which will take place at the former shipyard, NDSM, in Amsterdam on 18th August 2018. Having taken his party brand across various areas of the globe, including a very special Halloween appearance at highly esteemed London location, Tobacco Docks, this will be the first ever time Drumcode has put on their own festival.

With it now being 21 years since the creation of Drumcode, it’s definitely time to take a step forward with the festival in its own name. Beyer has played almost 80 shows for Awakenings since the late 90’s, so it looks like a partnership made in techno heaven.

As of yet, there are no names on the line-up but these are sure to be announced soon via Beyer’s Drumcode website. One thing is for sure, the event is already shaping up to be one of the most sought after events of 2018, and with the summer already shaping up nicely, are you likely to be attending the Amsterdam event? If so, let us know in the comments below!
