Club Nomadic adds The Chainsmokers to 4-day Super Bowl festivities
The Super Bowl is no longer only about playing American football, as peak performances of all sorts of world-famous artists have been linked to the event for many years now. Just like last year, electronic duo The Chainsmokers are scheduled to be part of the 4-day madness that keeps North-America glued to their TV sets every year. Club NOMADIC, the renowned traveling nightlife experience, will again be bringing four days of world-class performances to the Mystic Lake Casino Hotel near Minneapolis from February 1-4, 2018 because of the Super Bowl. The so-called ‘traveling pop-up nightclub’ will kick things off on Thursday February 1st with a performance of The Chainsmokers.
Club NOMADIC premiered at last year’s Super Bowl LI in Houston, when The Chainsmokers also took to the stage for a landmark performance. The only other artists that have been announced so far for an appearance alongside Alex Pall and Drew Taggart are American country-pop band Florida Georgia Line, who will headline the festivities on Saturday, February 3rd. Last year, Club NOMADIC really made a name for themselves by presenting The Chainsmokers, Bruno Mars, Taylor Swift and Pharrell Williams, amongst others.
The Super Bowl LII ‘Big Game’ itself will take place on Sunday, February 4th 2018. Every year, the highly anticipated halftime show reaches an incredible amount of viewers all across the globe, totaling a TV audience of 120.7 million in 2015 (Katy Perry) and 117.5 million last year (Lady Gaga). The upcoming 2018 edition will star none other than Justin Timberlake.
Check out Mystic Lake’s Tweet about the announcement of The Chainsmokers below. Tickets for the event range from $200 – $1,500(!) and will be on sale as of Friday, December 1st, at 10 a.m. More info and tickets can be found here.
