deadmau5 to make NYC debut as alter-ego TESTPILOT
As one of the most controversial figures in the electronic music scene, Joel Zimmerman, also known as deadmau5, is an artist who divides opinion across the board. One matter which has never been disputed, however, is his undeniable talent when it comes to the art of music production. Having captured the hearts of his listeners across the globe with his masterful releases, in 2014 he branched out into the techno scene, revealing his first ever release as his TESTPILOT alias. Now, Zimmerman is set to debut his TESTPILOT alter-ego in New York City, in collaboration with event promoter Teksupport.
The one-off show is set to take place on Saturday December 30th during the New Year’s Eve weekend, at the Depot 52 Warehouse situated in Brooklyn, NY. With support from Tensnake and Dennis Ferrer, the event is likely to be an unforgettable spectacle, with attendees set to end the year in style. Tickets for the event will go on sale on Tuesday 21st November, and look likely to sell fast, with TESTPILOT shows proving incredibly rare to witness.
