French producer Kungs continues his meteoric rise through the dance music industry, with the youngster scooping both the ‘Best French DJ’ and the ‘DJ of the Year’ awards at NRJ’s 2017 Music Awards and the NRJ 2017 DJ Awards Ceremonies.

Still only 20 years of age, Kungs faced tough competition for the gongs, up against his fellow French friends Martin Solveig, DJ Snake, and David Guetta, but it was the ‘This Girl’ producer who prevailed, walking away triumphant on the night. Having hit the #1 spot in over 45 countries around the world in 2016, Kungs has continued his rise, playing London’s iconic Ministry of Sound club earlier this year, as well as huge performances at the likes of Coachella and EXIT Festival.

His recent collaboration with with UK popstar Olly Murs titled ‘More Mess’ has been gaining widespread praise, and the young French star has also been touring with The Chainsmokers and Kygo. Now, with two new awards for his rapidly growing trophy cabinet, and youth still very much on his side, Kungs continues to rocket to the top of the dance music summit. A future DJ Mag Top 100 #1 DJ in the world? We wouldn’t rule it out!
