Showtek to return to hardstyle roots at Knockout Circuz
Showtek is poised to return to their hardstyle roots at this year’s Knockout Circuz festival in Australia, a teaser video for the event revealed. The epic 75 minute set will include fan favorites from their previous material and upcoming tracks that will see them returning to their roots. Knockout Circuz is a single-day hardstyle event held this December in Sydney, Australia, with the teaser announcing the return of the iconic hard dance duo to the genre which made them famous.
The Dutch duo, comprised of brothers Sjoerd and Wouter Janssen, were on the forefront of the hardstyle genre until their departure from the scene in 2012. Subsequently, they produced more mainstream style music, including big name collaborations with EDM giants like David Guetta. Indeed, their track with Guetta and Vassy, ‘Bad‘, charted in the top twenty in major music markets upon release. However, last year they venture back into hardstyle with the track ‘Mellow‘ with Technoboy and Tuneboy.
