Watch: Avicii’s visit to the hospital in latest documentary

Avicii‘s new documentary ‘Avicii: True Stories‘ is taking the world by storm. The film shows the ups and downs of his lavish, yet constantly busy life, including a scary trip to the hospital.

In the short preview below, Tim pays a visit to the doctor, revealing terrible toll his career has taken on his health. His decision to quit touring came as a complete shock to everyone, however, Tim’s new documentary gives fans a full insight behind his reasoning. Although Tim needs not, to justify his actions, the documentary evidently displays how quickly and easily, the life of a DJ, can erode one’s soul.

Avicii explains the documentary from his perspective:

“My documentary just got released not long ago… Levan Tsikurishvili, who’s the director of the documentary, has followed me for the past four years I think, four or five years.

He’s had so much material from both in the studio, from behind the scenes on concerts, during good and bad times. I’m really excited. I’m also a bit nervous because it is kind of gritty sometimes. It’s very personal. There’s a lot of ups and downs. It’s going to be interesting to see what people say.”
