With mainstream artists dominating the list, not a single EDM act makes an appearance.

Filled with radio-friendly commercial artists, the most searched artists consisted of acts such as Ed SheeranCardi BPost Malone and Linkin Park. After the tragic death of lead singer Chester Bennington, Linkin Park instantly became the most google-searched act of 2017, sparking a newfound attention for the band, their accomplishments and the hearts they’ve touched across the globe.

Ed Sheeran’s ‘Divide‘ album has undoubtedly been the most coveted album of the year. Songs such as ‘Shape of You‘ and ‘Castle On The Hill‘ helped the album reach platinum status in 13 countries.
