A few days left on the 2017 calendar with the new year fast approaching, KSHMR and his unfinished business return with the official release of his highly-anticipated track ‘Shiva‘ alongside India’s Sunburn Festival which is hitting full swing. ‘Shiva’ is the official anthem of Sunburn Festival and the epic piece of production from KSHMR collaborating with Italian duo Marnik and The Golden Army. Little under two weeks ago Niles Hollowell-Dhar gave his fans a teaser from his new track but now with the full release here, ‘Shiva’ is ready to turn up the volume and set playlists alight.

Festival anthems are special music productions that resonate with fans and ‘Shiva’ will be sparking memories of Sunburn 2017 in the distant future. KSHMR infuses psy-trance with big room and the result is an epic music masterpiece. Of course, no KSHMR production would be complete without some Mumbai vibes and ‘Shiva’ has plenty of that.

Prominent vocals kick off the track as a solid kick drum begins to ramp up those BMPs. Cue the melody and KSHMR’s signature sound as ‘Shiva’ steps on the big-room throttle and into the tracks build up before unleashing a freight-train like chorus filled with thumping bass and infectious track melody. However, mid-track ‘Shiva’s’ composed vibe make way for traditional Indian sounds with Asian flutes and percussion giving the track an almost separate identity. But do not worry big-room fans as the track jumps right back to its infectious melody and hard-hitting bass.

Released on Dharma Worldwide– Niles own record label which he released this year – ‘Shiva’ adds another successful release for the American-Indian DJ. Make sure you add ‘Shiva’ to your playlist and get ready for its uncontrolled and electric nature. Listen to KSHMR’s festival anthem below and let us know in the comments what you think about the track.
