6 years ago, Protocol Recordings founder Nicky Romero blessed the world with his Electro House smash-hit, ‘Toulouse‘. Despite only peaking at #49 on the Beatport chart many years back, the track shot Nicky Romero’s name into the stars, validating his exuberant breakout entrance into the electronic music scene.
‘Toulouse’ sent shockwaves throughout the scene, making its way onto mainstages across the globe. Its signature distinguishable synth and heavy bass helped stamp the song’s place amongst electronic music royalty. The track’s success spawned other successful tracks such as ‘I Could Be The One‘ with Avicii, ‘Legacy‘ with Krewella, ‘Warriors‘ and ‘Like Home‘ with NERVO.
Nicky Romero has a plethora of iconic festival anthems under his belt, and this year, the 28-year-old has been unstoppable, releasing an abundance of tracks including ‘Champion Sound‘ with Teamworx and ‘Only For Your Love‘ with Florian Picasso. Romero also recently hinted the release of his much-awaited song ‘Circle of One‘ with Eva Simons, according to the Dutchman, the track is set to be released upon gaining Simons’ tick of approval.
