STMPD RCRDS has been on fire recently. The labels headmaster Martin Garrix has been described as “too fast to slow down” by most in the past year, after snagging the #1 DJ award again in October. The Swedish DJ/producer Salvatore Ganacci gained plenty of momentum in 2017 as well. The producer crafted impressive releases on Refune Records, remixed Ed Sheeran, and released the deadly crusher “Ride It” alongside fellow Swede Sebastian Ingrosso.

Imagine” has a rather unique story behind it, Ganacci describes how the track actually began as two projects, with the roots sprouting as far back as 2005. For Salvatore Ganacci, a huge part of his shows is the mood captured through the music and the vibes put out to the crowd. He explains “I came across a 13-year-old unreleased track with my friends Ninsun & Nabuchadnosar Poli. I combined them and it fit perfectly.” For the DJ, there is an extra emphasis placed on the song’s emotional connection made between the crowd. The marimba vibes in the instrumental give the song a feel-good aura to it, while the vocal carries along the rest of the tracks drive. The horn refrains comes as the ideal top off to an exceptionally groovin’ record. Likely to be showing up plenty throughout the coming months, the song has supreme danceability to it and will certainly be a staple in the producers sets as he enters 2018.

Salvatore Ganacci hit many huge milestones this past year, among the most notable would be his Tomorrowland 2017 performance. His clever stage antics combined with his high energy song selection amounted to become a rather memorable performance. The Bosnian-born Swedish musician went viral following the set, and he reached much media attention. Whether it’s in Ushuaïa, Ibiza or Belgium, Salvatore Ganacci will certainly deliver a one of a kind performance.
